  During her 23 years in the shipping industry,  Myriam has acquired extensive experience from  ship brokering to back office organisation, freight forwarding, ship agency  to ship owning and commercial operations.

   

  She's been active in competitive and exclusive chartering of coasters, handy & Panamax vessels either on voyage, COA, or T/C for bulk commodities such as fertilisers, sugar, salt, grain, aluminium, logs, biomass, kaolin… but also for industrial sea carriage of vehicles, dry and liquid containers, pipes, IMO cargoes…

   

  In particular, she has built up a specialist ship brokering expertise in the niche market of  Project Cargoes.

  After graduating from ESCE in Paris, Herve joined AGA as a shipbroker in 1979; a firm specialized in worldwide shipping of Industrial products, raw materials and commodities. He acquired a 50 per cent stake in the Company in 1984. Throughout his career he chartered tonnage on spot and contract basis for steel products, pipes, jack up, crude oil, iron ore, coal, grain, fertilizers, etc.…  By the 2000s AGA was shipping close to 20million tons of bulk commodities per annum.

   

  In 1994 Herve also co-founded EVERTRADE, an international fertilizer-trading firm with head quarters in Paris and  offices in Moscow, Kiev, Kherson and Warsaw. EVERTRADE was selling about 1.5 million tons of commodities per year.

   

  In  2010 he founded Cachamca, a service provider and consulting firm that initially focused on financial advisory services and renewable energy projects in emerging markets. In 2014 when Myriam has joined the company as a partner, the co makes a tack into shipping business.
